New Members’ P.A.T.
(Welcome)
• New members’ lunch - 25th February.
• Developing courses for new members.

Romania Team Support P.A.T.
(Community Action / Youth)
• Our young people are going on a joint venture to Romania with young people associated with St. Michael’s, Finaghy Road North as part of the Presbyterian Church’s “Preparing Youth for Peace” programme.
• We need a P.A.T. to help assist in preparations.
 

0 - 1 Year

Prayer P.A.T.
(Prayer)
• Largely comprising of the Prayer Aims Team, this P.A.T. will continue to lead, guide and innovate the congregation in all aspects of prayer.

Pastoral Care P.A.T.
(Loving Fellowship)
• To develop a team of volunteers to assist in the pastoral care of our congregation. Some have already received training last term with Gary Haire from Christian Guidelines for this purpose.

Divorce Care P.A.T
(Community Action / Loving Fellowship)
• Church based Support Group, helping people in our community recover from the hurt and other feelings which arise as a consequence of separation & divorce.

Evangelism P.A.T.
• To develop Alpha and other resources for use inside the Church complex and outside in the local community.

Discipleship P.A.T.
(Discipleship)
• To develop and extend the range and types of Contact Groups.
• To develop the Volunteer Register.

Youth and Children’s P.A.T. – After School’s Club
(Discipleship / Evangelism)
• This P.A.T. will begin with an exciting project: to develop an After School’s ministry to children/ young people. With this in mind we are currently exploring the possibility of a 1 year Internship with an American Presbyterian Church for students or young adults.
 

0 - 3 Years

Facilities and Property Design P.A.T.
(Facilitating all Aims)
• 10 year Development Plan of entire Lowe Complex site with the intention of doing one small area of this purpose designed development and refurbishment plan within the current 3 year term, possibly to do with fellowship on Sundays.

Financial Development P.A.T.:
• Our mission needs to be supported by resources. The Financial Development P.A.T. will look into two specific areas of finance: the possibility of Grants, especially for ministries and site development; and the possibility of using our gifts and talents for God creatively, following the parable of the Talents.

Communication and Planning P.A.T.
• To develop our communication and organisational infrastructure; and to maintain our existing resources, such as, the website.

Management P.A.T.
• To help with staging and equipment and other requirements from the use of Church facilities by organisations and other groups.

Human Resources P.A.T.
• To develop the skills and gifts of those willing to give 1 day/afternoon per week on an “auxiliary staff” type basis.
• Session recognise the need to appoint an “Operations Manager” type role to assist all ministries on site and with admin issues but equally realise the current lack of resources to support this role. (On hold.)
