Anchor Boys - Junior Section - Company Section
Connect - Ju-jitsu

The 84th is part of Lowe. Although we have been in existence for about 70 years we are still very much in touch with boys needs in the 21st century. Get a flavour of our Company by checking out our website or call in anytime. Maybe you, your son or your grandson could come and enjoy your time with the 84th as hundreds of young people have over the past 70 years!!

Who?

      All boys are very welcome:

  • Anchor Boys: 5 - 8 years

  • Junior Section: 8 - 11 years

  • Company Section: 11- 18 years

  • Connect: 11 - 18 years

  • Ju-jitsu: 5 - 18 years

When?

  • Anchor Boys: Monday 7 – 8pm

  • Junior Section: Monday 7 – 8:30pm

  • Company Section: Monday 7.30 – 10pm

  • Connect: Sunday 10 – 10.45am

  • Ju-jitsu: Friday 7.30 – 9.30pm

Where?

  • Anchor Boys: Church => Duckworth Hall

  • Junior Section: Church => Duckworth Hall

  • Company Section: Church => Martin Hall & Duckworth Hall

  • Connect: Church => Youth Group Room

  • Ju-jitsu: Church => Duckworth Hall

What happens?

  • ANCHOR BOYS - team games (ie relays, football, hockey), individual challenges (ie stick-in-the-mud, skittles, penalty kicks), crafts, stories, cooking and much more. There are video/dvd nights, theme nights, sports competitions, outings and in general good fun.

  • JUNIOR SECTION - hockey, football, volleyball, chairball, relays, marching, craft, cooking, outings and a lot more.

  • COMPANY SECTION - Opportunities exist within the CS for any young person to express themselves. With weekly activities such as football, volleyball, fitness, drumming, bugling and computers. Special events such as weekends away, dvd nights, bowling, laser quest, gokarting, ice hockey. In-house competitions in all kinds of sports and also participate in competitions against other BBs in the Belfast area eg 5-a-side, cross country, table tennis, volleyball, football, band, sports quiz, fishing the list is nearly endless!

  • OLDBOYS - At present the 84this trying to set up an informal Old Boys’ Network – so if you are an Old Boy have a look at the Old Boy section of the BB website to get details. And don’t forget to let other Old Boys know!!
