Sunday Mornings @ Lowe

Pre:load/Connect Breakfast at 10:30 am

Why not start your Sunday with a delicious breakfast in our coffee lounge. This is a good opportunity to catch up with your friends over a bagel, and play a few games to get our engines going!

Re:load - Are you aged 11-14? Would you like to learn more about God in a fun, interactive way? If so, meet us in church at 11.30am where we will join the congregation for the start of the service, and then leave to follow our own programme. This term we are looking at what it how to grow in our faith as Christians following the course ‘X=Growth.’

Re:source - For those of you aged 15-17. Re:Source IN is a practical once- a month workshop to help equip you in your own walk with God. Once a month, at Re:Source OUT, we will provide an opportunity  for you to serve God in a practical way of your choice. On the other two weeks of the month Re:Sourcers will join the main congregation for worship and teaching.

  • Re:Source 1 – 17th February

  • Re:Source 2 – 9th March

  • Re:Source 3 – 20th April

  • Re:Source 4 – 11th May

Sunday Nights @ Lowe

Prayer Buddies - 6.30pm – 6.50pm  - Do you believe in the power of prayer? At Lowe, we do, and we want to spend more time together praying for each other, our friends, family, church and community. Why not come along to Prayer Buddies before our evening service.

Youth Track - This term youth group is meeting again during congregational church time in the form of a Youth Track. After Prayer Buddies we will join with the main congregation for worship at 7pm and then go into our youth track.

After we finish our evangelism track, ‘Contagious Christianity’, and up until Easter time we will follow a track called ‘Friends – a gang you would want to be part of!’ Being a Christian is meant to mean being part of a family, but all too often this is not how it feels in Christian circles. We are going to spend a few weeks asking the hard questions about friendship and thinking of ways that we can be better friends to each other.

Then, after Easter for those of you who are aged between14-15 there will be the opportunity to take part in the Youth Track ‘Preparing Youth to be Peacemakers’. Based on the success and relevance of our previous PYP course, and given the ongoing need for Christians to consider how best to show Christ’s love in a divided society, we will be giving our mid-teens the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the previous participants, and to perhaps even have the chance for some cross-cultural activity days with Youth Link! For those who have already done PYP or who are too young to take part, there will be the option of joining some of the other tracks, or to meet us at 8.30pm for Wind-down as usual.

Wind-down - Sundays 8.00pm – 9.15pm

Why not come to our games and chill time after the Sunday Service.

A great way to wind down!

RAGE

CONTACT-Y-LO - CONTACT GROUPS FOR YOUTH @ LOWE

Are you aged 11- 17? Are you interested in growing in your faith and encouraging others in their walk with God? Then you may be interested in joining one of our small groups. We also have social events once every few weeks when we meet just for the craic. Contact Corrina, on 028 90604581, to find out when, and where a group of young people your age are meeting. Don’t be shy, give it a try!

In preparation for The Celebration of Hope Youth Event on 5th April, during the month of February on Tuesday evenings, we will be attending Franklin Graham Gravity classes at Willowfield with our small groups. If you would like to join us, let Corrina or Thanael know asap.

Xtra! - This term the 18-25s will be meeting for small groups, socials and joint worship. New people are very welcome no matter where you are on your journey of faith. To get connected contact the youth office for more details.

Summer Madness and Streetreach 08

This summer a group of young people from Lowe will be attending Summer Madness at the King’s Hall and roughing it in tents come hail or sunshine. We have found Summer Madness to be a great boost for our spiritual journey and are praying God will use it again this year for everyone who attends. Would you like to join us? The more the merrier. Just let us know asap if you are interested by contacting the Youth Office. We may also be joining with some local Streetreach project – details to follow.
